Education: Senior, Psychology Major, Spanish and Anthropology Minors
Hometown: Winston-Salem, NC
Experience With Children: In high school, I was a camp counselor and riding instructor at a barn. I have worked with the Morehead Afterschool Program for three years and Morehead summer camps for two years. My experience also includes babysitting and being a Spanish School Reading Partner at Rashki’s.
Goals for School Year and Career: This year I plan to graduate and get into a good graduate school for clinical psychology. I would like to one day be a professor and study treatments for schizophrenia.
Hobbies/ Fun Fact: I enjoy debate and horseback riding. My fun fact is that I can lick my nose.
Why did you choose to work at Morehead?: It was an interesting place where I could do hands-on activities with fun kids as opposed to sitting at a desk. I like the positive atmosphere, diversity in daily activities, and fostering of a love science.
