Education: Sophomore, Undecided
Hometown: Clemmons, NC
Experience With Children: I volunteered last year with the afterschool program at Rashkis Elementary. I also volunteered with the TABLE for Two Program teaching kids healthy eating habits. I have lots of fun memories from babysitting.
Goals for School Year and Career: I hope to have fun and get closer to figuring out my major. As the service chair for the Substance-Free Living Learning Community, I want to get people in the LLC involved in the community and connect them with service opportunities and different organizations on and off campus. I plan on studying abroad in Spain next year.
Hobbies/ Fun Fact: I love being outdoors and exploring, going on adventures, and traveling. I play piano and enjoy reading. I am a lover of the arts.
Why did you choose to work at Morehead?: I volunteered last year at Morehead and loved the fun, creative environment. The Morehead Afterschool Program is unique because it focuses on science; it is important for kids to understand, question, and appreciate science because of its impact in the world. I am excited to join the team this year!
