Hometown: Charlotte, NC

Experience with Children: Throughout high school I worked and volunteered at my local children's library. There I would hold story times and participate in arts and crafts with the kids. I really enjoyed being around the imaginative and energetic young ones who made every day different!

Goals for Summer and Career: I hope to go to medical school eventually so that I can play an influential role in people's lives while doing what I love. My goals for the summer are to do well in the class I'm taking and have a really fun experiene being outdoors and conducting experiments and activities as a camp counselor!

Hobbies/Fun Fact: My hobby is playing tennis. I'm a huge fan of the sport and haven't gotten to play much due to classes but I hope to reconnect with it over the summer.

Why did you choose to work at Morehead? Morehead seemed to be less like a job and more like a fun thing to do. The prospect of teaching kids about science and its impact on our lives was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
