Quin Walker

Hometown: Durham, NC

Experience with Children: I was a counselor at Morehead last summer and I work in the Science Stage at MPSC educating field trip groups and the general public during the year. I’ve got a younger brother and lots of little cousins who I love to play with.

Goals for Summer and Career: This summer I hope to meet some cool kids and help to build a love for science in them! I hope to save the whales one day!

Hobbies/Fun Fact: I love to SCUBA dive, go fishing, swim, ride bikes, play video games, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, and eat ice cream. Fun Fact: My younger brother is taller than me! ? (but I can still beat him at ping-pong)

Why did you choose to work at Morehead? I chose to work at Morehead because I love science and I was interested in education. Morehead is pretty big in the community and it was the perfect place to put these two interests together.
