Payce Madden

Hometown: Lancaster, PA

Experience with Children: I coached youth soccer for three years and coached and helped teach youth rugby this past spring. I have helped teach two youth studio art classes.

Goals for Summer and Career: My goals for the summer are to have fun teaching about science and in the process learn more about it myself. My career goal is to work at NASA as either an astronomer or an engineer.

Hobbies/Fun Fact: I've played rugby for seven years and am president and captain of UNC's Women's Rugby Club.

Why did you choose to work at Morehead? I think the programs at Morehead are awesome and something I wish I would've had the opportunity to do as a kid. I also really like science education and teaching so I'm excited to get an opportunity to develop those skills.
