Beth Wright

Hometown: Statesville, NC

Experience with Children: I am an educator for the Morehead Afterschool Program and I taught summer camp last summer. I also did student teaching this past year at Voyager Academy and I tutor.

Goals for Summer and Career: This summer I hope to be the best counselor I can be to each and every camper. I want to make sure each camper has the best possible experience during their time at camp. As a future teacher, I hope to make sure each camper is having a fun and engaging time while learning and growing as scientists. In my future I hope to be a middle school or elementary school teacher who motivates each of her students to excel in every aspect of their lives.

Hobbies/Fun Fact: I enjoy Hanging out with kids (whether in school, afterschool, camp, or when babysitting), tutoring, and watching movies & TV

Why did you choose to work at Morehead? I chose to work at Morehead because I love to work with kids and Morehead provides the perfect opportunity for me to both teach and hang out with a bunch of awesome kids every day.
