Adult Classes

Expand your universe with experiences that match your curiosity and schedule! Morehead Planetarium and Science Center offers a variety of lifelong learning opportunities for adults ages 16 and up. Space is limited and classes fill quickly. Advance registration is required for all classes. NC EE Criteria III credit is available for environmental educators.
If you're participating in a "Starry Nights" or "Beginning Skywatching" program, please enter the gift shop area to access your class, with doors opening about 20 minutes before your class begins. (Doors may be locked earlier in the evening.)

| Description: | Explore the seasonal skies in Morehead's star-filled planetarium dome. Learn to
identify the planets, bright stars and constellations best seen at this time of year while enjoying stories from various cultures about star patterns in the heavens. Morehead educators will also share information about meteor showers and other current celestial events.
