WRAL-TV5 Skywatching Segments

WRAL-TV5 logo Are you curious about astronomy and the night sky? Tune into WRAL-TV5's "Saturday Morning News" for Morehead Planetarium and Science Center's "Carolina Skies" segment each month.

Featuring WRAL-TV5 meteorologist Mike Moss and Morehead educator Amy Sayle, the WRAL-TV5 "Carolina Skies" segment is a two- or three-minute presentation about the current Carolina night sky. The segment features astronomical events, such as meteor showers, lunar eclipses and planetary viewing, that may be visible during Morehead's monthly skywatching sessions.
