posted Monday June 23, 2008Morehead Planetarium and Science Center is offering all “of your favorites” this summer. Every Morehead program (except holiday programs) is on the schedule now through Aug. 24, 2008, including perennial favorites “Magic Tree House Space Mission,” “Solar System Adventure” and “Earth, Moon and Sun.”
Located at 250 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill, Morehead is open Tuesday through Sunday. +Building hours. Tuesday through Saturday, exhibits open at 10 a.m. with the first planetarium shows starting at 10:30 a.m. +Show schedules. Planetarium shows are also offered Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sundays, exhibits open 1 p.m. with the first planetarium show beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Whether you’re eight or 80, you’ll find fun and discovery at Morehead. To make the most of your trip, you may want to plan ahead so that you’ll be able to see the programs that are best for you and your family. All of our program Web pages offer age recommendations to help with your planning.
